Cohen & Sons (C&S), a premium menswear heritage brand, has announced its strategic partnerships with global textile heavyweights, Phoenix Textiles and Blue River Denim. Phoenix Textiles is a multinational textile manufacturer specialising in denim textiles and Blue River offers the most advanced and fashion forward wash techniques and premium finishing.

In addition, C&S has also opened its first round of funding on AngelList after forming strategic partnership with textile heavyweights.

“Our partnership with Phoenix Textiles and Blue River Denim allows C&S to become vertically integrated from the thread all the way through the wash process. This creates a huge first mover advantage in the fashion space as we are now able to innovate more quickly and develop the highest quality level of products, fabrics, and wash styles unlike our competitors. We are also able to create in demand products more cost effectively. Most importantly, we can stick to our roots and manufacture our products locally in Los Angeles,” stated Zach Cohen, president of C&S.

Cohen & Sons continues to gain momentum in the premium menswear category and is poised to release over 60 new products in the coming year. C&S will be releasing redesigned denim, moisture wicking chinos, technical knits, and wovens.

“C&S possesses an authentic heritage, unique marketing strategies, talented creative team, and strong product vision. We are excited to partner with the team as we believe the brand will continue to grow rapidly,” added Cindy Chang, special assistant to CEO of Phoenix Textiles.

“We continually seek to innovate with the latest environmentally friendly and advanced wash techniques right here in Los Angeles. We enjoy working with the C&S team because they share our passion for innovation along with our desire to push the limits of our resources to create truly unique products. Our visions are aligned and we design our washes with the understanding that sewing is a science but washing is an art,” said Tony Rodriguez, chief executive officer of Blue River Denim. (NA)
