Columbia Sportswear Commercial Co Ltd, a joint venture of Columbia Sportswear Company and Swire Resources Limited, a subsidiary of Swire Pacific Limited, has appointed Jason Zhu as the general manager of the China group.

In this newly created position, Zhu will have responsibility for all go-to-market functions, including apparel, footwear and accessories product and marketing, as well as wholesale, direct retail, and e-commerce channel development.

Previously, he had 13 years of experience with Nike, serving in Shanghai as senior strategic account director, senior marketplace management director, action sports category general manager, and as global category business development director for the Jordan brand.
