The prototypes fashion show at the two-day event will focus on the art of corsetry in lingerie and shapewear. The corsetry trend, influenced by the international furore of fetish ideas, is the most desirable look of the moment. The show will also display highly technical shaping materials that fit and look good.
The mini-catwalk show will highlight new technology in terms of fabrics and looks. It will also focus on expressive shapewear, lingerie-to-wear, and lace garments for a contemporary wardrobe.
Fabric suppliers like Chanty lace, Femina, Iluna, Gayou, Noyon, Penn Textile Solutions, Boselli, Broderies Deschamps, and Tianhi Lace will be participating along with some lingerie manufacturers like L&A Lingerie, EmbryForm, Charmante, and Kristina Shin.
The Exception, a fashion show using all kinds of jacquards will be displayed by companies like Billion Union, Famous, Derun, and Hannice to name a few. Jacquards have never been so cutting edge, modern, original and omnipresent. They are translated for intimates through circular knits, with raised or openwork motifs knitted on flat, warp-knitting machines or created on new electronically-driven machines, now capable of 3D designs.
This year Interfilière Paris designer of the year winner Willy Hermann, the unrivalled leader in the circular and warp knits market from Austria, will also be showcasing at the prototypes fashion show and Interfilière Hong Kong 2016. (HO)
