US based clothing retailer Men's Wearhouse has partnered with the National Basketball Coaches Association (NBCA) to collect professional attire for unemployed individuals looking to reenter the workforce.

Under the annual initiative named 'National Suit Drive', Men's Wearhouse is teaming up with NBA coaches from across the country to donate and spread the word in an effort to help support their local communities.

“NBA coaches including Brad Stevens from Boston Celtics, Fred Hoiberg from Chicago Bulls, Jason Kidd of Milwaukee Bucks and Terry Stotts of Portland Trailblazers have committed to donating suits,” the retailer said.

"We all know that dressing for success is vital, whether on the court or in a job interview. I encourage all my fellow coaches and fans to donate a suit,” said Rick Carlisle, head coach of the Dallas Mavericks.

"The National Suit Drive is a terrific program that helps empower those in our local communities to reenter the workforce with confidence," he added.

People can donate gently used men's and women's professional attire like suits, shirts, jackets, ties, belts and shoes at over 800 Men's Wearhouse stores across the US till July 31. (AR)
