The company announced that the first test application of MySizeID measurement application is ready for demonstration and initial trialing by parties pre-selected. The application uses statistical, mathematical algorithms to determine correct size.
"MySizeID is our next generation measurement application for online clothes shopping. With TrueSize, the right size clothing at a store is recommended based on the measurements of clothes from the customer's own closet. MySizeID takes it one step further, by using an alternative benchmark. It accurately measures a person's body, in spite of natural movement and other factors challenging to recording precise calculations. Simply put the smart phone on one side of your hip. Move it to the other hip and then back again. The application does the rest," said MySize CEO Ronen Luzon.
"With MySize ID customers can exhale knowing they no longer need to fuss with a measuring tape. In addition, it is important to note, that unlike other measurement applications, MySize products do not rely on smartphone cameras. This was a conscious development choice from the beginning in order to ensure customer privacy," he adds. (SV)
