Star Nutrition Inc, a California-based diversified health and wellness industry firm, has announced that it has appointed Matt Itamura as the National Sales Director for its Incrediwear division. Itamura brings years of retail apparel and marketing experience to the Incrediwear brand, with vast experience and knowledge of such retailers as Walmart, JCP, Macy's, Urban Outfitters and Ross.

"We are looking forward to developing strategies and expanding into new retail channels," said Star Nutrition CEO Jackson Corley. "Matt's experience and connections are going to help us tremendously as we expand our brand into the medical, sportswear and military industries."

Itamura's responsibilities will cover all sales functions for the entire U.S. while assisting in driving the company's long-term business strategy and execution. In addition to Itamura's retail and sales experience, he also brings with him extensive athletic experience and knowledge in cycling, motocross and running -- sports of which athletes benefit greatly from Incrediwear products.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of a company that manufactures products that enhance the lives of people, not only for athletes, but also for everyone that struggles with chronic pain, injuries, fatigue and other ailments," Itamura said. "Before joining the company, I personally talked to retailers and users of the products and did my own testing, research and evaluation of the Incrediwear products. They performed beyond my expectations. At that point, I decided to join the company and become an evangelist of the Incrediwear brand."

Incrediwear products, such as the Incredisocks and Incredibrace lines, couple proven health benefits with extreme comfort. Because of their anion technology, the products increase circulation, regulate temperature, are antimicrobial and wick away moisture.
