After the successful launch of its UK website this year, apparel retailer Kookai is now launching its new-look website across Europe.
The new website is aimed at developing the brand's e-commerce strategy and will allow the company to quickly adopt to the changing business environment, says Serena Everton, e-commerce Director at Kookai.
The site has rich media features like filtered search, zoom, and alternate views. It also has links to social media like Facebook, Kookai blog, and tumblr.
It uses a central product database and would be easily rolled out in European countries such as France, Italy and Spain.
Speaking about Magento specialists Session Digital, who developed the new site, Ms. Everton said, “They helped us define our global development roadmap, while ensuring that we have a website that could support our business in the longer term as well as across multiple regions.”
Richard Jackson, Director at Session Digital, said, “We accepted the challenge of Kookai to provide them with a good global e-commerce solution. We worked in close association with Kookai and understood its history, culture, its internal processes as well as the need for a better website. We have spent time to fully understand the things that make Kookai unique.”
Established in Paris in 1983, Kookai has today grown to have presence in about 40 countries across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
