Kids now learning in M&S style

As the countdown to the new school term begins, Marks and Spencer stays ahead with great value and innovation at the top of the agenda for autumn. Kids will love the fashion-forward pieces, whilst parents will breathe a sigh of relief with the smart selection of stain repellent, non-iron garments that don't break the rules or the bank. M&S meets your every school need for the class of 2011.

Smart schoolwear hits the top spot

M&S has worked hard to deliver great value uniforms on the high street without compromising on design, fit and innovation, making parents lives that little bit easier. 2011 sees the launch of the most innovative range ever, with over 100 garments sporting M&S smart technologies available at Your M&S.

Parents can opt for the Stain Defence finish, protecting against common stains such as grass, ketchup and paint on school trousers, shorts, skirts, blazers, pinafores and summer dresses. Plus, with many items also holding a Stormwear finish, you can ensure that kids are kept dry, and that mucky splashes just wipe off!

Schoolwear that saves time for you

Spending hours ironing on a Sunday evening will also be a thing of the past with a range of Non-Iron shirts, complete with taped seams that are ready to wear wash after wash. Plus, Supercrease technology on selected trousers, mean creases stay sharp even after washing. Whilst Scruff-Resistant, easy to clean shoes mean that mums and dads won't be reaching for the shoe polish everyday.

Adjustable waists too are great for growing kids – the hidden elastic in the waistband, and half sizes and wider fit footwear gives your kid months of extra wear, so you don't need to rush out to the shops with every growth spurt. Plus, elasticised shirt cuffs make getting dressed easy, helping kids get ready in record time!

To make life that little bit easier you can now Shop Your Way by ordering in store, online, via mobile or by phone and we'll deliver anywhere you want including free to your nearest store.

Stress-free shopping for the new school year

M&S understands that a new school term can be a busy and expensive time, with that in mind we are offering free standard UK delivery on all schoolwear. Whilst, for a small cost, the next day online delivery service means that even parents who have left it until the last minute won't be let down. Plus, make those trips to Lost Property a thing of the past with our innovative nametape service, offering fifty personalised iron-on name tapes via one simple text from your phone.

Schoolwear - the fairer way

Half of our cotton and cotton-rich schoolwear range is now made with Fairtrade cotton. Choose garments with the FAIRTRADE mark and you'll know you're supporting cotton farming communities across the globe, as well as kitting your kids out in great quality and great value.

Learning in style

In addition to the much-loved classic style, this year, M&S is offering a NEW range of fun fashion-focused uniforms for girls and boys. From skorts, the perfect combination of short and skirt styles for girls from £6, to the slimmer flat front, slim fit trousers from £6 (pack of 2) for boys, 2011 ensures kids are as pleased as their parents with their new look uniform.
