Jul '11
The International Apparel Federation (IAF) is holding its 27th World Apparel Convention in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico (13-16 Oct). Registration for this event is now online.

Each year the International Apparel Federation holds its annual convention in a different country. For this year it will be Mexico and the chosen venue is the Grand Velas Resort (Nayarit).

The theme of this two day convention is 'transformation of fashion business'. High ranking speakers from all over the world will touch upon actual and future developments in sourcing strategies and retail concepts. They will answer questions how creativity and innovation can shape a positive business environment for the fashion supply chain. The four subjects that the IAF Convention will focus on are sourcing, retail, innovation and design. Program and registration via www.iafnet.com, click on Conferences.

The Convention is co-organized by the Mexican Apparel Industry Association (CANAIVE). They will hold their 35th annual congress together with the IAF Convention. Additionally, IAF will hold its Board and Executive meeting and General Assembly on 12 and 13 October.
