Southern Tide, a rapidly growing lifestyle brand of apparel that boasts exceptional craftsmanship, clean lines, fine quality and classic design, announced the company has released newly redesigned styles of Southern Tide sport shirts and long sleeve T-shirts, as well as a new Skipjack needlepoint belt.

A must have for every wardrobe is the new Southern Tide needlepoint belt. Made exclusively for Southern Tide by Smathers and Branson, the needlepoint belt is hand stitched, 100 percent wool, 1 1/4 inches wide, features hand stitched signature Skipjack emblems, and has a stitched bridle leather trim and brass buckle.

Southern Tide sport shirts are known for their slight amount of stretch and unique design. With new designs, including: screen porch; off the grid; Charleston plaid; mountainside windowpane; tattersall; masterplaid; gingham; checkmate check; Skipjack strip; and solid twill, customers will surely find one to their liking. These shirts are designed to be worn tucked or un-tucked, and feature a wrinkle-releasing fabric, laser engraved buttons, and a signature Skipjack emblem embroidery on the left chest. The sport shirts come in a variety of colors and sizes.

Southern Tide long sleeve T-shirts are 100 percent soft, breathable cotton, prewashed to minimize shrinkage, and are available with or without a pocket. The pocket tees feature the signature Skipjack emblem embroidery over the left chest, and the other tees feature a printed design over the left chest with either a design down the right sleeve of the T-shirt or on the back of the shirt.

Customers can purchase Southern Tide products at fine retailers in more than 40 states across the country, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, as well as on Southern Tide's online store.

“Our customers have been anticipating the expanded Southern Tide collection for quite some time now, so we are excited to release these items to our retail partners and to our online store,“ said Jim Twining, CEO of Southern Tide. “We've added about a dozen of new colors and designs to our shirts, and with the addition of our Skipjack belt, we are confident our customers will be happy with the new items.”

Southern Tide, LLC founded in 2006 by Allen Stephenson, is the Greenville, S.C.-based manufacturer of a rapidly growing lifestyle brand of apparel that boasts exceptional craftsmanship, clean lines, fine quality and classic design. The collection's original product, the Skipjack Polo, is deemed by customers to be the finest, most comfortable polo shirt in the world.
