Bryan Eshelman, Sr. Vice President, Operations, Charming Shoppes, and Nancy Marino, former EVP/Chief Supply Chain Officer, Gloria Jeans, will both speak on the Executive Panel at the 5th Annual Apparel Sourcing Summit at MAGIC, to take place Aug. 22, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Eshelman and Marino will join Judy Gnaedig, Director, Strategic Projects Fashion, Lectra Headquarters, and Bryan Riviere, Vice President/Head of Global Sourcing and Manufacturing, lululemon athletica, in discussing "The Strategic Use of Technology in Building a World Class Sourcing Organization."

Designed for sourcing executives and managers, Apparel's Sourcing Summit also will feature key highlights of Apparel's Excellence in Sourcing Study, conducted in partnership with leading consulting firm Kurt Salmon. The Study reveals benchmarks and statistics relative to methods of buying, sourcing locales, sourcing lead times, inventory turns, vendor performance measurement, supply chain visibility and more, and this year will have an increased emphasis on how technology is being used in the sourcing arena.

The panel will be moderated by Tony Ward, partner at Kurt Salmon.

The Apparel Sourcing Summit at MAGIC is sponsored by Title Sponsor Lectra and Gold Sponsors TradeCard and WRAP and is an official program of Sourcing at MAGIC. Located adjacent to MAGIC, Sourcing at MAGIC is the largest fashion sourcing event in North America offering one-stop shopping for the entire apparel, footwear and accessories supply chain. Twice a year, attendees have the opportunity to meet more than 700 contract and original design manufacturers, design and textile resources, fabric mills and component suppliers from the world's most important regions and markets, all under one roof.
