Fashion retailer Seed is now Seed Heritage

Seed, one of the most widely recognized Australian retailers of modern fashion and accessories, has now become Seed Heritage.

The new brand has been unveiled as one super website seedheritage.com, replacing the three earlier existing Seed websites.

The brand plans to open a women's wear outlet in Hong Kong next month, as a part of its strategy to increase its presence in Asia. It already has three children's wear stores in Hong Kong.

The new labeling has been carried out by the company to give a global feel while being rooted to its history.

Besides the usual online features, the website of Seed Heritage has a 'studio' section that encompasses creative elements such as lookbook, behind the scene videos, and seasonal campaign.

The website also has Facebook integration and 'wish list' facility where customers can store and share their favourite items. It has an optimized mobile site with full e-commerce functionality that includes iPad optimization.

An important focus area on the website is styling advice for women's wear. It includes a monthly 'key look' feature, wherein women's wear apparel styles can be photographed on the body. This is a new trend which is fast picking up among major online retailers worldwide.

Seed Heritage users will not only be able to browse, but also purchase the full collections online, including women's, baby, boys and girls collections.
