TSC Apparel announces the acquisition of All Star Activewear, an apparel wholesaler located in Houston, Texas.

Additionally, TSC is expanding its Houston distribution center by more than 50%, allowing for a wider product selection and deeper inventory in the most popular brands including American Apparel, Anvil, Gildan and Tultex to further support the expanding customer base in the Texas territory.

In early 2010, TSC added a new location in Houston to complement the 3 existing warehouse locations and provide next-day ground shipping across much of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The acquisition of All Star will allow TSC to expand its base of customers as well as increase its growing sales force with the addition of Bob Ashy, All Star co-founder, bringing over 30 years of industry experience to the table.

TSC Apparel and All Star Activewear both service the imprinted sportswear industry with a focus on superior customer service, strong long-term business relationships and a great product offering. TSC Apparel is the successor company of T-Shirt City headquartered in Cincinnati OH, California Shirt Sales in Fullerton CA, and Georgia Tees in Atlanta GA – all long-recognized suppliers in the industry that have played prominent roles in the sportswear supply chain over the last 30 years.

In making the acquisition announcement, Sales Manager Blair Pike stated, “All Star is a natural fit for the TSC Apparel family. Their customer focus and commitment to service complement our business philosophy well. The addition to our Texas sales team and larger facilities from which we can service our accounts will help us carry the momentum we have established in Houston into 2012 and beyond.”

TSC Apparel supplies imprintable sportswear to the Licensed Apparel, Corporate Promotional Products, and Uniform industries, stocking and sourcing more than 1800 styles of tees, fleece, headwear, sport shirts, outerwear, and accessories from over 40 name brands. TSC operates from locations in Ohio, California, Georgia and Texas.
