Expansion of Distributor Matchmaking concept

ISPO expands its Distributor Matchmaking concept and will offer its successful platform twice a year, the second event to be held in Shanghai.

From October 25th to 27th, 2011 sports business professionals who are not yet involved in business in Asia, will be able to gather information on the market and development potential in this region. A number of renowned brands, such as Salewa, Hilleberg and Haglöfs have already taken advantage of this opportunity and found partners for the Asian territories.

The second event – in addition to the Distributor Matchmaking at ISPO BEIJING – was realized upon request by the industry, searching for more opportunities for organized meeting and presentation options. The advantage is clear; companies now have multiple opportunities for efficient research on potential collaborations.

“With the help of the additional event ISPO offers all sports business professionals a new, independent ISPO service, meaning, independent of attending a trade show. ISPO Distributor Matchmaking by ISPO is slated to generate commercial synergy effects for the companies as well as further their communication amongst each other as well as with retailers. “The concept includes a variety of presentation and networking components. In addition to brand presentations, individual meetings, as well as a tour of department stores and specialty outdoor shops, it also includes a joint dinner to allow the participants to get to know each other. The central element of the concept includes three guaranteed meetings with potential Chinese distributors.
