Marks & Spencer opened its brand new store in Amanora, Pune - the retailer's third store in the city.

Trading over two floors, the new 18,000 square feet store is in line with Marks & Spencer's new international strategy to build a strong presence in India, as one of its priority international markets. Marks & Spencer now has 22 stores in India and will continue to build presence in the country.

Speaking at the opening of the new Pune store, Martin Jones, CEO of Marks & Spencer Reliance India, said: "It's nearly ten years since we've opened our first store in India and we're continuing to build our presence across the country. Today's opening gives us the opportunity to reach even more customers across Pune and showcase our high quality, great value and innovative products."

The new Marks & Spencer store offers an extensive range of quality fashions and accessories across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, lingerie and beauty.

Luke Banks, Head of Buying and Merchandising in India, commented: "Our new store in Pune has everything you need to start the new season in style. Customers can choose from our extensive range of quality wardrobe staples including skinny denims, luxurious knitwear and sophisticated shirts. Our innovative secret support lingerie helps provide the perfect silhouette, whilst you can complete your outfit with our wide array of shoes, bags and accessories.

"In menswear, choose from our latest collections from smart casuals to sharp suits - ensuring you look great throughout the Autumn/Winter season."

Popular M&S fashion ranges available will include:-

• Limited Collection loves fashion. These sexy, confident pieces have all the buzz and anticipation of a girls' night out. Edgy, desirable and always right on trend, Limited Collection turns heads.
• A per una woman always looks beautifully put together. This feminine, vibrant and passionate boutique collection, inspired by the romance and drama of Italy, is full of colour and embellishment. Italian inspired details, gorgeous accessories and unique prints combine to create a confident, individual look.
• Intrinsically masculine, sports-inspired Blue Harbour embodies understated, relaxed style. Crisp, pure cottons & clean styling create a groomed, considered look for men who understand casual can still be smart.
