KappAhl, a Swedish fashion chain, has unveiled its 60th outlet in Finland, and is searching for more business property as it intends to boost the total number of outlets in Finland to 70 within next few years.

KappAhl presently operates more than 360 outlets with 4,800 employees in Norway, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Finland.

The company's main target group is women with families in the age group of 30 to 50 years. All KappAhl garments are designed by their own fashion team and the chain sells around 60 million garments every year. Its most recent collection is named Designers Finest.

According to Cubus, a subsidiary of Varner Gruppen, there is still an opportunity for another clothing chain specializing in seasonal garments for young ladies in the Finnish market.

Cubus launched its first outlet in Finland in April this year and is eyeing to launch another six to eight outlets by end of the current year. The Norwegian chain too, regularly changes its collections like Swedish firms Gina Tricot, KappAhl and Hennes & Mauritz.

Varner Gruppen, the biggest holding firm in the clothing sector in the Nordic countries, has already made inroads in Finland with the launch of its men's clothing chain – Dressmann.
