China's silk garment exports to Germany have risen over 10-fold on year-on-year basis to 28.39 million pieces (sets) during the first seven months of the current year, according to China Customs statistics.
The value of silk garment exports to Germany touched US$ 33.25 million mark in January-July 2011, up 8.01 percent year-on-year. The average price per unit, however, declined by 91.62 percent year-on-year to US$ 1.17 per piece (set).
Volume-wise, exports to Germany accounted for 14.41 percent of the total silk garment exports, while value-wise, they contributed 4.75 percent to the earnings through silk garment exports.
