PRGMEA announces elections results for FY 2011-12

Pakistan Readymade Garments & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) has announced annual elections results for the fiscal year 2011-12. According to the elections results, Mohsin Aziz has been elected as central Chairman with Sohail Afzal Sheikh and Atiq A Kochra as zonal chairmen for North and South Zones respectively.

The Executive Managing Committee PRGMEA consists of Atiq A Kochra, Sohail Afzal Sheikh, Mrs Asma Yousuf, Ijaz A. Khokhar, Bilal Mulla, Adnan Azmat, Razzak H. Paracha, Mubashar Naseer Butt, Zubair Parekh and Jamshaid Hanif.

Those who are elected for Zonal Managing Committee PRGMEA North Zone include Ijaz A. Khokhar, Adnan Azmat, Muhammad Farooq Meyer, Sheikh Muhammad Saleem, Mubashar Naseer Butt, Jamshaid Hanif, Javaid Iqbal Bhatti, Nasir Iqbal Baryar, Sheikh Luqman Amin, Muhammad Bashir, Furkh Iqbal, Muhammad Naseer Malik, Ashraf ul Azim and Muhammad Ayaz Uddin.

The Zonal Managing Committee PRGMEA South Zone consist of Amir Amin, Mrs Asma Yousuf, Baig Muhammad Majeed, Bilal Mulla, Dawood Usman Jakhura, Irfan Ali, Jawed Suleman, Mohsin Ayub Mirza, Muhammad Aman, Muhammad Saud Elai, Muhammad Younus Khamisani, Shaikh Shafiq Rafiq, Shehzad Salim, Razzak A. Paracha and Zubair Parekh.

The Annual General Meeting also opted Ijaz A. Khokhar, the outgoing central Chairman as Chief Coordinator PRGMEA for 2011-12. Mr Khokhar said the new PRGMEA leadership consists of young, dynamic and experienced entrepreneurs. He said challenges are tough but still the PRMEA members are fully confident about the abilities of new leadership. He said the new leadership would soon come up with a comprehensive future road map.
