Respect Your Universe Inc. (RYU) is pleased to announce that they have teamed-up with Portland-headquartered Co-Operations Inc., to be its U.S.-based product warehouse and fulfillment center. Operating from facilities in Portland and Atlanta, Co-Operations provides comprehensive inventory management, order fulfillment, and commerce services for a variety of national and regional companies.

"We're delighted that the team at Respect Your Universe selected Co-Operations to be its fulfillment partner," commented Pat Granum, Co-Operations CEO. "Companies like RYU are our model clients. They are smart, ambitious and ready to grow."

Additional services that Co-Operations will provide RYU include distribution and shipping, inventory management, order processing systems and on-line reporting. In 2006, Portland Business Journal listed Co-Operations as one of Oregon's "Fastest Growing Technology and Software Companies" which has partnered with brands such as Tillamook Cheese, Grenade, Shed Rain, Daimler Trucks North America and Kettle brand potato chips amongst others.

"We are very excited to be partnering with one of the most innovative and well respected warehouse and fulfillment facilities in Oregon. This is an important step in the building of our brand infrastructure and will help to service both our retail customers and consumers who should demand world class customer service from a premium brand such as Respect Your Universe," said Erick Siffert, COO of RYU.

"With Co-Operations providing us their logistical expertise, we don't have to worry about running a warehouse, procuring orders or hosting our online web-store. This allows us to focus on developing our products and serving our customers to the best of our ability."

"As one of the nation's leading cities in the athletic sportswear industry, Portland is home to many global, national and regional athletic and fashion apparel and footwear brands which has led to the creation of many world class businesses that can support this industry," added Christopher Martens, CEO of RYU. "RYU is excited to be able to work with these local companies in, and around, the Portland area to also help with creating jobs in the community and improving the local economy."

"Built for Athletes, Suited for Style," RYU's debut Men's line of premium high performance product embodies the art of the sport and places emphasis on respect, strength, sustainability and honor as the foundation of their apparel and products. All of the apparel items and products have been produced from organic and/or recycled materials utilizing some of the best yarn and fabric suppliers in the world while achieving the performance attributes desired by Mixed Martial Arts fighters and the true everyday athlete.

Respect Your Universe, Inc is a premium performance apparel and equipment company rooted in and inspired by Mixed Martial Arts. Focused on the needs of the athlete, RYU brings innovative design, development and production of premium authentic performance gear with style to mixed martial artists and athlete enthusiasts worldwide. The RYU brand is based on respect, honor and sustainability.
