Al Hokair to focus on expanding Canadian teen brand Garage

GARAGE, the apparel brand that has been delivering effortlessly stylish casual clothing to teen girls in Canada, United States, United Arab Emirates and Qatar is delighted to announce its new partnership with Fawaz A. Al Hokair - Fashion Retail, a leader in brand licensing within the region of Saudi Arabia.

The first Garage store operated by Al Hokair Group has officially opened its doors in Sahara Mall, located in Riyadh. Al Hokair will also branch out with two more store openings over the next month in the largest malls in Saudi Arabia; one in Mall of Arabia in Jeddah and the other in Mall of Dhahran in Dhahran. The Saudi stores showcase the brand's youthful looks from its Fall 2011 collection, presented in a context rich in storytelling reflecting the teens' playful spirit and carefree lifestyle.

Al Hokair Group will focus on expanding the Garage brand and operating its mall-based stores. This partnership will be the stepping stone to opening up at least 25 stores in premier malls within the region, in the next five years.

After 35 years in the fashion business, Garage and its sister brand Dynamite, represent two of the most recognizable fashion brands in Canada. This spirited group creates, designs, markets and distributes from offices located in Montreal, Quebec, and operates over 260 stores in Canada and in the United States, and through partners in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and now Saudi Arabia, with more than 4,000 employees. In addition to being one of the largest retailers in Canada, Garage has currently expanded its store base in New York, Miami and Houston.

Fawaz A. Al Hokair, Fashion Retail is the leading retail franchise group for the MENA Region and C.I.S Region. Fawaz A. Al Hokair, Fashion Retail will be partnering with Canadian fashion retailer, Garage, for further expansion in the Middle East and C.I.S Region. Fawaz A. Al Hokair, Fashion Retail will roll out the first Garage stores in Saudi Arabia, followed by other international markets.
