Duchamp, a UK-based premium menswear brand, has launched a new outlet at Harvey Nichols in Scotland's Edinburgh.

Unveiling the new concession store, Marc Psarolis, Chief Executive of the brand stated that the Edinburgh outlet is an excellent opportunity for the brand to make inroads in Scotland.

The label, known for using vibrant colours, has men in the age group of 35 and above as its main target group, especially for shirts. The brand is also famous for its colourful ties which have been donned by Stephen Fry and news presenter Jon Snow.

Duchamp is growing at a faster pace after Psarolis took over the firm from its founder Mitchell Jacobs, about five years back by way of a private equity-backed buy-out.

While products of the firm are presently being sold in over 70 countries, the firm now proposes to launch a retail flagship store at Jermyn Street of London during next year. The new outlet would showcase the first autumn collection of Gianni Colarossi, Duchamp's recently recruited Scots/Italian designer.

Duchamp each year sells over 60,000 London made ties. Alongside, it also sells suits, socks, cufflinks, shirts and jackets. Some of these collections even showcase luxury tweed from Peebles-based historic mill of Robert Noble.

In September, the brand unveiled an outlet at London's Harvey Nicks, and is all set to launch another one in Leeds next week.
