Premier Investments appoints new Director

Premier Investments Limited announced the appointment of a new independent Non Executive Director.

Ms Sally Herman will join the Premier Board in December 2011.

Ms Herman has had a successful career in the financial services sector in both Australia and the United States. Prior to becoming a company director, Ms Herman spent 16 years with the Westpac Group (until 2010) running major business units in most divisions, including the Institutional Bank, Wealth Management (BT Financial) and the Retail and Business Banking Division.

Ms Herman also had a successful career with Macquarie Bank with roles including establishing the Private Banking Division.

Current directorships include Urbis Pty Ltd (Chair) and FSA Group Limited. She is also very active in community affairs as a member of not for profit boards and up until 2010 was Chair of the major fundraiser for the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

The Chairman of the Premier Board, Mr Solomon Lew, said “I am delighted that Sally will bring her skills and experience to the Premier Board. She is a very highly regarded member of the Australian business community with a strong background in the financial services industry, senior management and customer engagement”.
