AEPC organizes the Export Awards Function

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) is the lead council for promoting apparel exports of the country and with exports of about 12 billion dollars and an employment potential of over 6.5 million jobs, the garment industry is important to the socio economic fabric of the nation.

In order to encourage top performers, the Council organizes Export Awards function every year. This year the function will felicitate export award winners for the years 2008-09 and 2009-10.

There are 18 categories, totaling 26 awards for each year. The council has received 127 Applications from 55 Companies for 16 Categories for FY 2008-09 and 129 Applications from 55 Companies for 16 Categories for FY 2009-10.

Incorporated in1978, Promotion Council - AEPC is the official body of apparel exporters in India that provides invaluable assistance to Indian exporters as well as importers / international buyers who choose India as their preferred sourcing destination for garments.
