Online clothing retailing receives boost this Christmas

The Christmas shopping season has already opened in Europe and America, although it is still more than 20 days away from Christmas.

Online clothing retailers are expected to see a high growth in this festive season, with consumers increasingly preferring to shop online fromwithin the confines of their homes or offices.

According to Coremetrics statistics of IBM, online shopping US consumers grew 24.3 percent year on year on the first day, after the start of Christmas shopping season this year.

A Chinese online website too has started operations and is offering big global clothing and accessories brands at a substantial discount price this Christmas season.
