ASIA APPAREL EXPO-BERLIN to be held in Feb 2012

Kenfair Exhibition (Hong Kong) Limited, a leading Hong Kong-based exhibition organiser, is pleased to announce the launch of ASIA APPAREL EXPO-BERLIN in Germany next February. The new trade exhibition serves as a special sourcing marketplace dedicated for European buyers looking for 100% made-in-Asia apparel and fashion accessories.

Asia has long been the world's centre for apparel manufacturing while Europe remains the heart of fashion and design. Over the past 25 years, Asian countries have developed a highly competent and versatile mass market manufacturing base. Today, six Asian countries (China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India) account for 80% of Asia's apparel exports to Europe, America and Japan.

The first-ever ASIA APPAREL EXPO-BERLIN, from February 21-23, 2012, will bring 150 carefully-selected and experienced Asian manufacturers to the doorstep of European fashion and apparel buyers. The exhibiting suppliers are based in some of the world's largest clothing producing countries and regions: China, India, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

The all-Asian expo sets to offer Brand Manufacturers, Trading Companies, Wholesalers, Multiple Retailers, Chain Stores, Department Agents, Designers, Private Label and Buying Offices a new ASIAN SOURCING MARKET PLACE, right in the heart of Europe in BERLIN.

On show will be a wide range of Mens, Womens and Childrens wear, Sports Wear, Lingerie & Swimwear, Denim Wear and Industrial Wear plus Fabrics, Embellishments, Laces, Trims, Buttons, Zips, Labels and other apparel accessories.

Why Berlin? The Germany's capital city has re-established itself as one of Europe's key trading, fashion and business meeting centres. Centrally located, with easy access from both Western and Eastern Europe and over 580 hotels providing 45,000 rooms for business travelers and traders. Therefore, Berlin is making the ideal location for staging this brand new trade fair.

Kenfair is confident that ASIA APPAREL EXPO-BERLIN has the potential to grow into an important annual sourcing date for apparel buyers and professionals in Europe by putting Asian suppliers in direct contact with European brands.
