MQ Holding AB monitors autumn's success with Mr. Dobbs, and now launching the classic Swedish brand.

"Customer response to Dobbs has been wonderful," says Lotta Lindsten, design and purchasing manager at MQ. "It feels great that we now can offer Dobbs lady of fashion-conscious women."

The spring collection from Dobbs lady inspired by brand's successful campaign 1985th The campaign, which was photographed by Walter Hirsch, the Dobbs-girl a relaxed casual style, a feeling which has been the basis for the creation of the new collection.

The collection is dominated by classic designs in natural materials like cotton, denim and linen. The jeans are in focus and have tingling and washes that create a personal expression.

There is also checkered shirts and comfy t-shirts. The garments have generally a casual feeling that is reinforced by a washed and used look.

Metal parts in the form of buttons and logos gives the collection an authentic feel, while the pattern image is limited to stripes and checks in order to maintain the classic term casual / denim. The color palette contains various shades of blue and a washed red and cream.

"Dobbs lady fits perfectly into our brand portfolio, which now has been considerably enhanced in the lifestyle casual," says Lotta Lindsten.

Dobbs was founded in 1974 by Swedish design duo Dan and Bjorn, whose idea was to create clothes and jeans that were not only comfortable and practical, but also loaded with attitude, expression, and high fashion.

A few years after the brand's introduction was also launched Dobbs lady, then with carefully selected pieces 5-pocket denim and shirts. Before the fall of 2011 launched Mr. Dobbs in MQ's stores with great success. Now it's time even for Dobbs lady to make the entrance of the MQ.

Dobbs lady launched in stores in February 2012.
