Polarmax is proud to introduce their all new, proprietary XTRdry fabric, which dries in a fraction of the time of old fashioned cotton. Over the past year Polarmax has invested in an all-new treatment for cotton, which makes it hydrophobic (unable to absorb water), without losing the soft feel or breathability of cotton, for the most comfortable performance fabric you're ever worn: XTRdry fabric.
“We see the value and potential in quick-dry cotton, but we wanted to control the process, like we do with our other fibers,” said Roger Maxey, VP of sales at Polarmax. “Part of the value we provide to our retailers and consumers is our secure supply chain, enabling us to keep our pricing and product consistent and reliable.”
Available for F'12, the new Polarmax XTRdry fabric will be featured in a number of styles, including M's and W's L/S Zip Mock, M's Crew, M's Mock and W's Roll.
Based in West End, North Carolina, Longworth Industries manufactures and markets Polarmax and XGO technical base-layer apparel, and AYG Underwear. Longworth Industries products are 100% made in the U.S.A.
