Professional Clothing Awards show on April 17 & 18

The two charismatic co-founders of London's top trendy tailors, 'Cad and the Dandy' are to act as hosts for the prestigious 'Professional Clothing Awards 2012' which is to be held at the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show at the Ricoh Centre, Coventry, UK on the 17th and 18th of April 2012.
Ex bankers James Sleater and Ian Meiers formed 'Cad and the Dandy' back in 2008, and since then they have designed for numerous celebrities including launching new trend setting menswear ranges with the eccentric and dapper former World boxing champion Chris Eubank, and Ben Westwood, photographer son of British legend Dame Vivien Westwood.
Their company has salons in London's prestigious Savile Row, 'The City' and Canary Wharf with the brand well represented in another fashion capital –New York.
Ian Meiers says: “We are delighted to be involved in the Professional Clothing Awards 2012 and look forward to playing a part in the recognition of some extremely talented individuals and companies working within this massive £450 million UK industry”.
The Professional Clothing Awards is set to take in the whole working garment industry – from products, components and materials to full uniforms and processes – and entries will be judged on their practical benefits to the user, the supply chain and the environment.
Yvette Ashby, managing director of Professional Clothing director-e and the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show, said: “We are delighted that James and Ian from 'Cad and the Dandy' have agreed to co-host the awards evening on April 17. "
"Their energetic personalities, in-depth understanding of the industry and appreciation of the all the work and expertise of the Award entrants make them the perfect choice to act as comperes.”
The winners of the Professional Clothing Awards will be announced at a spectacular gala dinner and dance at the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show on April 17, 2012, in Coventry's Ricoh Arena.
