Focusing on market entry, operation models, consumer demographics and more in the BRIC nations, American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) announces its new workshop on emerging retail markets, Retail Hotspots: Developing a Strategy to Globalize.

Kicking off the program will be Dr. Harry G. Broadman, PwC Chief Economist and Emerging Markets Practice Leader, and former White House trade negotiator who will cover a strategic overview of market risks, opportunities, and conditions. Dr. Anastasia Xenias, Senior International Trade Specialist and Global Team Leader, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce follows with a discussion on programs to assist US brands find overseas partners. In the afternoon, we look forward to case study presentations from global experts discussing the unique qualities for each country: Brazil, India, and China.
