Urban Outfitters Inc announced the appointment of Tedford Marlow as Chief Executive Officer, Urban Outfitters Group, effective February 6th, 2012. In this new role, Mr. Marlow will be responsible for the Urban Outfitters brand globally.

Prior to retiring in 2010, Mr. Marlow spent nine years as President of the Urban Outfitters brand. Under Mr. Marlow's leadership, the Urban Outfitters brand grew revenues to over $1billion, opened more than 100 stores in the U.S., successfully expanded the brand into Canada and Continental Europe, and oversaw the rapid growth of the brand's direct-to-consumer businesses.
