Channel [V], the television channel that offers music, will be soon offering branded apparel range at its café chain V Spot Café + Bar in India.
The initiative is part of the channel's plans to attract maximum attention of its core target group – the youth.
Last year, the channel unveiled its first V Spot Café + Bar in Delhi and it plans to open a second café in Gurgaon.
The firm also has plans to open cafes through a franchising model at Bangalore, Chandigarh, Indore, Kolkata and Pune during the next six months. The company will get a share of royalty from the income earned at each café opened on franchising model.
Channel [V] intends to open 30 V Spot Cafe + Bars across the country over the next five years.
Currently, the firm is in talks with few companies to rollout a range of V branded apparel, which would be sold at the cafes.
