During the latest edition of ISPO, the leading international sports business trade show that was held in Munich from January 29th to February 2nd, Thermore, worldwide leader in research, production and marketing of thermal insulation for apparel and sleeping bags, decided to celebrate its forty years of innovation and leadership.

Key objective: market launch of the New TMK product line, featuring 50% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) polyester fibers, and Rinnova, with a content of 100% PCR fibers bringing the company to the forefront in the development of high performance components with a strong focus on sustainability.

For this important occasion Thermore also renewed its booth, presenting an “experiential space” to focus attention on the unique properties and benefits of its lifestyle philosophy, “Set Yourself Free.”

“2008 World Champion dance crew “Los Caballeros” reached out to the public by organizing themselves into three couples of dancers who moved around the fair itself performing impromptu break dancing displays throughout the four days of the fair. They danced a total of 250 performances and ended each day with a special final exhibition at 6 o'clock at the Thermore stand where happy hour drinks for customers were offered.

The whole dance event eloquently captured the “Set yourself free” theme for all visitors to ISPO. Thermore products meet all the needs of the sportswear and fashion industries; their unique scrimless design and fiber migration treatment allows for greater resistance and durability. These factors have resulted in a significant growth of the company over the last 10 years. Brands currently using of Thermore products include: Bogner, Colmar, Eddie Bauer, EMS, Fjallraven, Head, Intersport, Napapijri, Mammut, Spyder and Volcom.

TMK, Thermore's flagship flexible solution for all outerwear needs, will now feature a more sustainable production process and will be made of 50% certified recycled polyester.

Thermore TMK product line offers maximum design flexibility for outerwear and related accessories. The patented SR (Special Reduction) process allows up to four thicknesses of insulation per weight category: High Loft, Compact, Super Compact and Ultra Compact.

The SR process allows a variance in the thickness of a chosen weight without a proportional loss in thermal value.

Rinnova is an ecologically advanced thermal insulation as it is 100% derived from Post-Consumer Recycled polyester whilst offering the same Thermore level of performance and price level. With Rinnova, Thermore is looking to the future - being responsible today for a better tomorrow.

Thermore, founded in 1972 in Milan, is a worldwide leader in the research, production and marketing of thermal insulation for apparel and sleeping bags with operations in Europe, the USA and Asia including production facilities in Thailand and offices in Hong Kong.
