The sixth Interfilière Hong Kong will be held on March 29-30, 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With the phenomenal success of the past five consecutive years, it is proven that Hong Kong remains an important strategic location for intimate apparel.

This year, the latest Interfilière Evolution Guide 19 – Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 Trends will be unveiled exclusively first at Interfilière Hong Kong 2012. Previously launched in Paris for the past two decades, this practical and essential trends guidebook is first made available in Hong Kong recognizing the importance of the city in international intimate apparel arena.

This trend book decodes the trends for Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 featuring samples of the major colors set to drive the upcoming key looks of the season.

With its extensive experience in organizing professional and international lingerie trade shows, Interfilière Hong Kong organizes seminars and conferences during this two-day event to provide participants in-depth market updates and business intelligence.

In collaboration with Concepts Paris, the Trends Forum, “Signs of Change”, will decode the latest lingerie trends, designs, creations and innovations. This year, Invista, Interfilière Hong Kong strategic cooperator will also share with participants their insights of consumer behavior at the seminar “Winning with today's lingerie consumer --- LYCRA fiber with W Technology fashions your essentials for growth”.

To echo with the Interfilière Paris and other Interfilière events around the world, the slogan of Interfilière Hong Kong 2012 is “Trace the Origin” of which the essence of the fair is to bring the focus to the products and their materials.

Not only does Eurovet believe that designs and cuttings are important for lingerie and beachwear production, but materials and fabrics are also the soul. This year, exhibitors are showcasing their latest innovations in fabrics, lace, embroidery and accessories to improve the comfort and support required for intimate apparel.

For instance, Carvico introduces a new recycled hollow polyamide which is light with no see-through effect, highly UV protective and good insulation; lace specialist, Femina Lace International features high quality and innovative moldable and light control lace with engineered concepts; Pioneer Elastic showcases its innovative elastic using fine denier nylon which is high elongation and modulus to provide exceptional fit and comfort to sport and full figure garments.

Eurovet brings through Interfilière Hong Kong unparalleled business opportunities and connects the largest industry experts worldwide. The growing number of exhibitors this year has proven so as they are suppliers with the highest quality – from fibers to fabrics, laces, embroideries, latest innovations and technology to accessories for lingerie and beachwear.

Among the exhibitors, companies offering OEM and ODM capacity have grown by 300% this year contributing 11% of the total number of exhibitors. Besides the French Pavilion, there will be an increased presence of Thai companies gathered in a Thai Pavilion, supported by the Thai Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce.
