US-based premium swimwear label Gottex is diversifying into home textiles segment through licensing agreements for decorative fabrics, bedding, beach and bath towels, decorative pillows and other items.
Kerry Glasser, the New York-based licensing consultant who is collaborating for Gottex's home textiles initiative, said Gottex is known for its great designs and its vivid prints have already been licensed for luggage and handbags.
Hence, he said, it is natural for the Gottex brand to extend its extensive designs to home textile items.
The swimwear products of fashion forward company are currently offered at over 3,000 department stores, specialty and other stores. These include Bloomingdale's, Belk, Bon-Ton, Bergdorf Goodman, Dillard's, Carson Pierre Scott, Macy's, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and Von Maur.
