Nepali govt finalises cash doles for garment sector

The Nepalese government has finalized providing cash incentive facility to Pashmina, apparel and carpet sectors.
Two carpet companies and one Pashmina producer have been selected for giving cash incentive, a top official of the Ministry of Industry, said. The government has made it easier for companies to avail these cash incentives, he added.
Under the cash incentive program, goods with a value addition of 30-50 percent will get two percent, value addition of 50-80 percent are entitled to three percent and for value addition above 80 percent, it will be four per cent.
