Sachiyo to grow CORDURA brand in Japan

Sachiyo Tokunaga joins INVISTA's CORDURA brand team as the new Japan CORDURA brand and marketing leader.
In her new role, Tokunaga will be an integral part of the CORDURA brand team, with responsibility for co-branding activities with strategic Japanese luggage, outdoor and apparel brands. She will also lead CORDURA brand sales, promotions and marketing initiatives in Japan.
“We are delighted to have Sachiyo on the CORDURA team,” said Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA brand and marketing director. “With her prior experience in the sales and marketing fields, she brings not only a fresh perspective, but an expertise that will help further grow the CORDURA brand in Japan.”
In addition to her role on the CORDURA brand team, Tokunaga also serves as the Japanese sales and marketing leader for INVISTA's Dacron bedding and textiles team.
Prior to joining INVISTA, Tokunaga was responsible for sales and marketing for Sinor's Intermediates business. She received her bachelor's degree from Niigata University and also participated in Baruch College's division of Continuing and Professional Studies in New York.
