French Eurovet buys 100 % of American CURVExpo
Eurovet, the world leading tradeshow organizer in lingerie and swimwear, announced that it has acquired 100% of CURVExpo, the only Trade show representing the Designer Lingerie, Men's underwear and swimwear In North America.
Launched in Las Vegas in February 2007 by co-founders Jean-Luc Teinturier and Laurence Teinturier, CURVExpo has established a strong and unique position in the industry by combining a presence in two major markets New York and Las Vegas and an efficient and focused show format that meets the unique needs of retailers in the fashion and exclusive Intimate Apparel, Men's Elegance and Swimwear premium niche. Delivering a newfound excitement in this Industry, CURVExpo has grown over 20% yearly to four highly-anticipated annual events (two in New York and two in Las Vegas) in just five years.
EUROVET, the leading trade show organizer for lingerie and swimwear worldwide, which shareholders are the French Knitting and Lingerie Federation and the major trade show organizer Comexposium, runs sixteen Textile and Fashion related fairs in the world, seven of them already dedicated to the lingerie and swimwear industry.
The leaders in the field worldwide are the famous Salon International de la Lingerie (Fall-Winter Collections) and Mode City (Spring-Summer collections and swimwear) which respectively take place in January and July in Paris. Interfiliere the Fabric and Trimmings Show, runs simultaneously each January and July. Since 2005, EUROVET has also become the most influential Trade show player in Asia with, Interfilière Hong-Kong, Interfilière Shanghai, the best sourcing platforms showcasing respectively in March and In October, and Shanghai Mode Lingerie, the new brands platform for Asia.
Back in November 2008, EUROVET acquired 30% stake in CURVExpo.
