Cottonking, the leading chain of cotton attire for men across Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka launched unique CoolSlubz - collection of formals, fashion formals and T-shirts. This collection was launched here in city by popular Telugu film star and Cottonking brand ambassador (Ishq movie fame) Nithin Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Koushik, CEO Cottonking announced that the company registered Rs 46 crore turnover in the last fiscal and target to achieve Rs 55 crore in this fiscal. The product is available in six states in the country. And has about 60 stores. The company is planned to expand 15 to 20 stores each year, he informed.
City has four stores currently. Right now the focus is only Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, we would like to expand to places like Viajayawada, Guntur, Vishakhapatnam, Bhimavaram and other places, he said. We work on 100% franchisee model. And we are 100% cotton and specialised only in cotton. Cottonking offers to its customer well over 100 designs. Each year it launched about 25 new designs.
Maharashtra is the biggest market for Cottonking with over 40 store and second biggest market for cotton wear is Hyderabad, he informed. The company estimated Hyderabad market to be worth about Rs 8 crore for cotton fabrics and readymades, Mr. Koushik informed. Adding further he stated that Indian Cotton Garments market including fabric and readymades put together is valued at Rs 2400 crore, but it is only a notional figure. As most of the business also happens in unorganised market, the actual market will be double, he stated.
The entire product range of Cottonking include T-shirts, Jeans, Trousers, Formal Shirts and Casual Shirts.
