La Vie en Rose celebrates beauty of women through contest

La Vie en Rose celebrates the beauty of all women through its latest "My Vacation" contest, where women can upload photos of themselves on vacation either in swimwear or beachwear.

The photo gallery is hosted on the company's website, where clients can enter for the chance to win a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico worth $5400, offered graciously by Transat Holidays.

Additional picture galleries are organised by theme on the company's Facebook page. The images are untouched in order to put an emphasis on natural beauty and allow clients to experience their moment in the spotlight.

"People are generally happiest while on vacation, so we wanted to interact with our clients and have they re-live those wonderful memories," says Elyse Pesant, Vice-President of Marketing, La Vie en Rose. "We're also glad to see how many women are proud of their bodies; we receive mostly shots of our swimwear even though we'll accept any vacation picture."

La Vie en Rose has been organizing national contests three times a year with a trip for two to a luxurious beach resort as well as La Vie en Rose products as the grand prize, and the number of registrations grows with each one.

The company was searching for a new way to engage their target market and empower them, while simultaneously promoting their successful swimwear banner, La Vie en Rose Aqua. "While on location in Jamaica for our ad campaign shoot, we realized the potential for this type of project because we almost exclusively saw our swimwear on the beaches," adds Elyse Pesant. "This has proven to be a fantastic tool in getting to know who our target market is."

La Vie en Rose is the leading Canadian specialty lingerie retailer. The brand caters to all women aged 25-45, and evokes natural beauty, confident sophistication, and sensual passion.
