Australian apparel industry veterans have come up with a new apparel label Control Division, which has been launched in the domestic market as well as in New Zealand.

The label launched by Australian apparel entrepreneurs, in association with Wellington-based Sidhe's Mario Wynands and Tyrone McAuley, focuses more on the overall concept of gaming rather than individual gaming.

Control Division Chairman Richard Neal said they have been monitoring the video gaming space and planning the launch of clothing line for quite some time. He added that they have developed a culture in their brand, which can be facilitated only while working with industry veterans.

Mr. Neal said the mammoth growth of the video-game culture created the ground for launch of the new brand, which would cater to the world markets.

The new label would present gamers with trendy, quality clothing apt for wearing at home, down the street or to the club, he added.

Control Division's first limited collection named “beta” includes gaming-based T-shirts, track pants and hoodies designed by dedicated artists from the gaming space.
