Nike unveils Carl Lewis inspired LA84 women's jacket

Inspired by ten-time track and field champion Carl Lewis, the Nike LA84 jacket is fueled by performance and rooted in design so today’s female athlete can keep going all day long in style. 

Made with lightweight, soft taffeta nylon fabric, the jacket’s classic silhouette is perfect to wear around town or in high-intensity workout situations. Since most females have more to do than just work and workout, Nike designers loaded the jacket with just about every bell and whistle so they can stay comfortable and dry without missing a step. 

There are multiple storage compartments for keys, wallets, small media players, and phones. The packable three–panel hood zips in or pulls out for use on a rainy, cold, or even a bad hair-day.  Additionally, loopholes for thumbs keep hands warm, a zipper guard helps prevent chafing around the neck, and even an auto-lock zipper provides easy on and off access. 

The classic cut and material allows for layering or donning solo, and after a day's wear can still look dry clean-only.
