Ryan – better known by fans as “Tatman” – had a breakout 2011 season, establishing career highs in home run, RBI and runs, and his clutch hits helped lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to the National League West title. He was also selected after the season to play in the MLB All-Star series in Taiwan.
