Black Knight & Amrod to debut Gary Player apparel line

Black Knight International is pleased to announce their relationship with Amrod to introduce the new line of Gary Player Collection apparel. Amrod, South Africa's leading importer and in-house brander of corporate gifts and clothing, represents a new licensing partner with Black Knight International, and a natural extension for the continued expansion of the Gary Player brand in South Africa.

"We are pleased to be taking the Gary Player Collection into corporate South Africa," said Marc Player, CEO of Black Knight International. "The obvious choice to take this forward was Amrod because I am aware of the pride they take in their products, and they will be sure to do the collection justice."

Amrod Director Craig Friedman shared the same sentiment.

"As a South African icon and legend, Gary Player is a greatly respected and admired figure in South Africa and we are proud to be partnering with Black Knight International in our endeavours to take the Gary Player Collection to the corporate market on a larger scale," said Friedman.

Attending the Johannesburg launch, Mr. Player took the stage dancing with the Amrod models after a fashion show to unveil the new apparel offerings, and it was evident that the Black Knight was suitably impressed.

"It is wonderful to partner with a company where you know that core values are shared, and is just one more reason why we are looking forward to a lasting relationship," said Gary Player.

Following the fashion show, Player and guests gathered in the exhibition area to catch a glimpse of the complete collection, which offers a full array of men's and women's golf apparel.

"An excellent job has been done with the collection, and we are thrilled with how everything has turned out," commented Marc Player.

With styles of mens and ladies apparel, manufactured from the highest-quality fabrics and each available in a variety of colours, the Gary Player Collection is the ideal choice for corporations looking to associate themselves with a premium-brand garment at competitive prices.

The new Gary Player Collection brand offering by Amrod is part of their recent expansion for the 2012/2013 season, which has proved to be their largest catalogue in their history.

"Our world-class, 600-page 2012 catalogue features over 350 new gift lines and 130 new clothing lines. The addition of the Gary Player Collection is the major highlight in our 2012 collection and lends further credibility to an established range featuring a host of global brands," said Friedman.

A website dedicated to the Gary Player Collection is planned to launch on July 1, and will feature all brand product offerings offered by the corporate gift and clothing provider.

Amrod is a TRADE ONLY supplier and all product requests should be directed to your Promotional Company.
