The premier online collegiate apparel retailer, South of the Red, has just released its new line of Texas Tech shirts and gear. Customers will be able to show their Red Raiders pride with this new line of apparel before the season even begins.

With the college football season just a couple of months away, sports enthusiasts are bracing themselves for yet another action-packed, fingernail biting, and all around exciting football experience. To better prepare loyal Texas Tech Red Raiders fans around the nation, South of the Red has released new Texas Tech shirts and other forms of apparel.

The new apparel will feature redesigned logos, as well as classic retro product lines that are guaranteed to please tailgaters and home viewers alike. Texas tech shirts and other lines of apparel are available for immediate purchase through the online store provided by South of the Red.

"When it comes to providing the largest selection of official licensed NCAA based attire, nobody comes close to South of the Red." says Steve Smillie, president of South of the Red "We are always updating our selection of unique NCAA apparel and our new line of Texas tech shirts and gear will be a certain crowd pleaser."

2012 promises to be an interesting year for Texas Tech Football. In addition to the Red Raiders' annual rekindling of its historic rivalries, Texas Tech plans on instituting a Ring of Honor to celebrate Red Raider legends of yesteryear. The purpose of the Ring of Honor is to pay tribute to "an elite group of players and coaches that made outstanding contributions to Red Raider Football," according to a press release from the Texas Tech Athletic Department.

"The careers of those that we will celebrate in this Ring of Honor brought national recognition to this university and left an incredible mark no our football program," Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt claimed in a prepared statement. As the Texas Tech program steps into the future by honoring the past, it is a given that fans and alumni will want updated gear for the pivotal 2012 football campaign.

South of the Red, an online retailer of collegiate apparel, is known for providing its customers with a wide selection of Texas Tech, as well as other Texas based collegiate team apparel and gear.

All of the merchandise available through the online store is officially licensed and manufactured under authorized agreements between manufacturers, universities, colleges, and third party licensing representatives such as The Collegiate Licensing Company.
