Brax Men's Outdoor collection for S/S 2013 season
Jul '12
Colours, light and breeziness are theme of Brax’s spring/summer 2013 collection. Reserved or boasting colour flash – the jackets in the Brax Outdoor collection are crafted to live up to any demand. The must-haves of the extensive colour spectrum include faded hues such as stone, brass, orange and olive, as well as the new summer highlight red. The colours new blue and aqua are also new to the palette, just like the key summer 2013 colour: yellow, in shades ranging to mustard. Non-colours – light khaki, taupe and beige – add a calm counterpoint.

Whether cooler temperatures or the triumphant summer of a century – Brax has just the right styles: blousons, field jackets, in-between jackets, lightweight down and quilted vests, windbreakers and parkas with attached hoods leave nothing to be desired. The summery quilted programme with vests and jackets as well as light cool cotton jackets with corded ribbon and new accessories are new in 2013.

The best-selling field jackets Azure and Toulon have been updated with new details and lining styles. The N° 1 Masterpiece jean jacket makes a debut with a new wash, accessories and labelling. As a highlight, Brax unveils Cool Canvas PPT articles ranging from jackets to windbreakers in a pared down vintage look and fresh summertime colours.

Well-placed details add depth to the styles and conjure up a modern sense of casual. The use of new label embroidery, new intricate leather accessories, cotton cords in a natural look and new types of zipper pulls are front and centre. Finely crafted linings featuring corded ribbon, prints and chambray represent traditional Brax quality.

The variety of jacket styles is matched with the use of a wide range of different materials. Summer fabrics such as twill, gabardine and poplin take care of the classic segment. Lightweight nylon and Masterpiece denim, the shape memory and paper touch effects, as well as the washed look are amongst the key elements in sporty cotton-techno blends.
