Stage set for India's first intimate apparel trade event

With a perspective on the myriad opportunities in intimate apparel, India’s first sourcing event Galleria Intima 2012 aspires to manifest avant-garde fabrics and accessories in conjunction with powerful production techniques. As the event inches closer towards show-time, organizers and partners are leaving no stone unturned in their marketing and publicizing efforts. Scheduled to be conducted on the 28th and 29th August’12 at Grand Hyatt in Goa, the word about this upbeat fiesta has already spread widely in industry circles.

With a number of foreign entities looking for strategic business partners, Galleria Intima 2012 is attracting global attention. With a market estimation of Rs.8,700 crore along with a CAGR of 14%, the branded Indian intimate apparel market in the medium to premium segment holds a market share of 52% and is expected to grow fastest at 22% CAGR in the next five years to follow. India is turning out to be the dark horse in this galvanizing global industry.

By providing an exhibition expanse compassing of 8000 sq. ft. of area in Grand Hyatt, Galleria Intima 2012 will bring together varied components of the intimate apparel business for complete trade concentration. This fair will assemble exhibitor entities with business interests in lingerie, underwear, nightwear, sleepwear, loungewear, swimwear, beachwear, shape wear, stockings, and socks. The fair will provide the participants with a fully equipped booth which will act as the medium of displaying their latest items and technology.
