Silver Jeans Co., the Canadian denim brand with a reputation for high quality, well-fitting jeans in the mid luxury denim market, is pleased to announce Doreen Panzer as President of Sales for the wholesale division. The announcement of Ms. Panzer's new position is coupled by the progression of current President of Silver Jeans Co. Michael Silver to Chief Executive Officer.

"I am very excited to have found Doreen Panzer, whose experience and reputation in the industry, especially her denim fashion focus, makes her the perfect addition to our team," says Michael Silver, CEO, Silver Jeans Co.

Panzer will be responsible for strategizing new growth potentials and mapping the brand's plans for immediate and future sales growth on a global basis in conjunction with the newly created retail division. Panzer will be working closely with the Canadian and US sales teams to identify new opportunities to help grow the brand's business.

Panzer most recently held the position of Vice President of Sales for Calvin Klein Jeans where she was responsible for the sales, planning and retail merchandising strategy for the Missy, Plus and Petites divisions. Her previous experience includes buying for Macy's and Ann Taylor, and Account Executive for A-Line Ann Klein.

"Ms. Panzer will be an important part of our already top-notch wholesale team," says Silver. "And under Ms. Panzer's leadership, our superior team will prosper even further."

As CEO, Silver will lead the company into its next phase of growth. He will focus on important aspects of the expanding business including the recently announced retail roll out, consumer product assortment and brand management.

Silver Jeans Co. is a division of Western Glove Works, a family-owned business that has produced quality denim products for 90 years.
