Invista, one of the world’s largest integrated producers of polymers and fibers, and owner of the LYCRA fiber brand, will be presenting its consumer relevant, differentiated fiber and fabric innovations to textile and apparel value chain customers. The innovations will be showcased in two separate events. Invista will showcase its fiber and fabric innovations to intimate apparel customers at Galleria Intima in Goa (Aug 28 – 29) and its fibers and yarn innovations in Yarnex, Tirupur (Aug 31- Sept 2).

Andrew Evans, Managing Director, South Asia, said, “We at Invista follow Market Based Management business philosophy, which is all about creating real, sustainable value for customers and society as a whole. It encourages innovations that create value by making people's lives better. Our engagement with the consumers through brands, retailers and mills helps us understand their needs better and include their feedback in product innovations. We continuously look for platforms like Galleria Intima and Yarnex that facilitate interactions with key customers, which in-turn will help us understand the market better. We look forward to showcasing our latest innovations at these prestigious events.”

At Galleria Intima, Invista will be showcasing the latest innovations including Narrows with LYCRA fiber, LYCRA fiber with W Technology, and LYCRA BEAUTY fabric, as well as COOLMAX fabric and THERMOLITE fabric. With reference to the evolving intimate apparel market in India, Andrew Evans and Avinash Chandra, Marketing Head for South Asia, Invista Apparel will deliver a presentation on ‘Winning with Intimate Apparel Consumer’.

Sharing details on the objective of the presentation, Avinash Chandra said, “Consumers’ purchase behavior towards intimate wear hasn’t been fully understood by most brands. At Galleria Intima, we will share Invista’s experience which we have learned through consumer research and on the basis of our interaction with global brands, retailers and consumer. These insights will throw light on better understanding of the Indian intimate apparel market.”

At the 4th edition on Yarnex, Invista will present high performance fiber and fabric technologies. The innovations that will be presented include LYCRA fiber, LYCRA T400 fiber, COOLMAX fabric and THERMOLITE fabric.
