TENCEL introduces new-age active golfwear range

TENCEL introduced the new age of golfing, at the active fairs Outdoor Friedrichshafen and Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City 2012.

The TENCEL fiber is ideally suited to active clothing. For sports in which style demands functionality - such as golf - TENCEL is a perfect solution. The fiber’s moisture absorption properties and skin friendliness ensure optimum physical comfort and allow the player to fully focus on the competition. With the support of TENCEL, a hole-in-one gets closer.

Hole-in-one

Golf is a sport which demands great powers of concentration. To be able to perform well, the golfer has to feel at ease. TENCEL fiber creates high quality golf wear which is both soft on the skin and functional thanks to perfect moisture management. Flawless body temperature equalization helps the player keep a cool head during the golf tournament. The highest levels of concentration are ensured with TENCEL.

Permanent sun protection

TENCEL is also available as TENCEL SUN which offers protection against UV rays. For golf tournaments in particular, which last for several hours, reliable sun protection is a must. TENCEL SUN offers long-term protection due to a pigment which is permanently incorporated into the fiber and does not lose its effectiveness even after repeated washing. Depending on the  structure of the textile, a UV protection factor (UPF) of up to 110 can be attained.

Luxury and functionality

Golf is a sport for people with discerning tastes. In the clothing sector, TENCEL helps to make the desire for luxury a reality: exclusive fabrics are attractive thanks to long-lasting color brilliance and silky hand. TENCEL golf wear combines comfort with functionality. Despite the physical exertion involved in golf, personal freshness and a perfect appearance are assured all day long.

Botanic

Sustainability and eco-friendliness are rules of etiquette for golfers with a sense of responsibility. TENCEL is made from wood and is 100% biodegradable. The manufacturing process is based on botanic principles and has been presented with numerous awards for its eco-friendliness. Thus TENCEL is the natural alternative to conventional fibers.

From head to toe

Ambitious golfers can dress from head to toe in TENCEL. The botanic fiber is used in high quality shirts, polo shirts and pullovers, in stylish skirts and trousers as well as in functional jackets, socks and caps. TENCEL is also ideally suited to skin-friendly underwear.
