August 30 and 31 will see a team from the German TV channel ZDF visit Mönchengladbach trouser specialist Atelier GARDEUR for its show pur+ to document how a pair of jeans are made. Together with the Atelier GARDEUR team “scientific stuntman” and host Eric Mayer will design and tailor a pair of jeans. “We are delighted at this request from ZDF as the in-house tailoring studio at our company headquarters in Mönchengladbach is ideal for demonstrating the production process of a pair of trousers for young and old: here we carry out every single step in trouser manufacture – from the first sketch through to the last buttonhole,” says Gerhard Kränzle, CEO at GARDEUR GmbH.
